Education and Training
I received my B.A. from Harvard University and my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. I completed predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowships at San Francisco General Hospital and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). I currently teach family therapy at UCSF, as a voluntary clinical faculty member. I also have served on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation, helping raise support for child abuse prevention and family support programs. I continue to serve on the Foundation's advisory board. My areas of specialty include attachment and trauma, and I have a strong background in couple and family therapy.
